We knew there was a better way to discover new places

We were tired of using the same old review apps and browser searches to find new restaurants and bars to go to. We always found that it was hard to get an accurate picture of what it was like to actually be at a venue before deciding to go.

So we decided to build something that would do a better job of conveying what’s most important about any venue you visit: The vibe and the crowd.

What we knew was, all of the best places we had found were places our friends recommended, and that there was no simple way to see the places your friends loved (we all have sent those e-mails: “Hi friends! I’m visiting your city in a week!! Where should I go?”).

That’s why we decided our app had to start with community, and emphasize real-time discovery so that you can easily see the places those you care about love, explore the city to find new hidden gems, and do a quick check to make sure that the vibe of the venue matches what you’re looking for.

Today, we’re proud that Trustr is the app we use to find places we love, share them with our friends, and explore new areas of our city and beyond. We hope you love it as much as we do.
